Tickets!

So um I’m amazed, scared and happy all at the same time! Why? Well when I first started organizing PodCamp London I booked a room figured I’d get 20 or 30 people out and we’d have a great informal time where we could all share and learn. Well today we hit our “cap.” I kinda set that up, at 80, after we received a bunch of sponsor money and there was enough interest to add a second room. All the while never thinking we’d actually hit that cap!

We did and I have some things to ask of you and some things I’d like to let you know.

First if you’ve registered and you know you can’t make it, please contact me and we’ll remove you from the system so we can open up that spot for someone else. We want to make it the best event it can be and people missing out while there is empty seats is not going to make that happen.

Second, we’ve been looking at other ways to allow for more people and we think we can do that. The easy option is to open another room, the problem with that is, we can’t combine rooms therefore extra seating does no good if there isn’t someone up front to speak to the butts in the seats! That is where you come in! I guarantee that each person signed up knows something that others want to learn. Come up with a topic and put yourself on the Wiki to present. When we have enough sessions it’s an easy call to book another room!

If you haven’t registered and you want to present please get in touch with me directly (bill@deys.ca) and I’ll try to make arrangements.

Other then that know that were hard at work trying to set this up to allow you the participants make this the best PodCamp that it can possibly be! Thanks to everyone, participants and sponsors, it’s all because of you that this is going to happen!
